Working hard to fulfill pre-orders!

David and I have been working hard to get everything to everything in order to ship out the pre-orders. Our current plan is to ship parts out by February 4 — you will be emailed a tracking number. We really appreciate your patience as we deal with minor delays related to supply chain, shipping delays, vendor shipments, etc. We apologize that it’s taking a bit longer than we originally anticipated, even with all the time buffers that we had built in and planned for. If any specific orders are delayed later than that, we’ll email those individuals.

We can’t thank you enough for your support & pre-orders. David and I read every email, respond to every comment, and still get super excited for every order email notification — we literally text each other whenever one of us sees the notification. Our venture is only possible due to your response, enthusiasm, and support. We’re really sorry about the delays! We’re trying everything we can to get you your [1 x 4] + 1 Macropad as soon as possible.

We’ve got a good flow going now. I do the packaging, packing, mechanical assembly, first-article inspection, and general shipping organization. David does all the soldering, flashing, and end-of-line testing of units.

The good news is, after this pre-order fulfillment, most of the supply-side constraints should be relieved, and we should be able to deal with delays in supply chain much more effectively.
